How To Set Up Your Prehook and Attentive Integration

The Prehook integration with Attentive allows you to seamlessly create subscribers in Attentive, and store customer data that you gathered in your quiz. This helps you improve personalization and relevance, which are critical for SMS success. 

Once you set up your Prehook integration with Attentive, you can create subscribers and send Prehook quiz responses directly to Attentive. 

Step 1: In Prehook, click “Connect” next to the Attentive integration: 

Step 2: Authorize Prehook access to your Attentive account. 

You will be automatically redirected to your Attentive account. Click the “Authorize” button: 

After you Authorize, you should see this message: 

Step 3: Request Your Sign-up Source ID from Attentive

You will need to enter your Sign-up Source ID to allow Prehook to automatically subscribe shoppers who enter their phone number in the Quiz.

Contact your Attentive White Glove team (whiteglove@attentivemobile.com) or your Client Strategy Manager at Attentive to request a sign-up source for either marketing or transactional opt-ins.

Step 4: Enter Your Sign-up Source ID

Once you receive your 6 digit sign up source ID, you can enter it in Prehook.

Step 5: Verify and Test the integration

Once you have completed the steps above, you can validate that data is sent through as it is intended!

It is advisable to test the integration, and complete a quiz to ensure that all data is sent through as a Custom Event (when you create a Segment):
