How To Send The Personalized Recommendations To Customers after a Quiz (using Klaviyo)

After a customer completes the quiz, it is a great opportunity to follow up and send them their personalized recommendations via email. 

In this article, we’ll show you exactly how you can do this once you have set up your Klaviyo integration and captured an email. 

1. Create a Flow in Klaviyo 

Use a “Metric” to trigger the flow: 

And select “Prehook – Product Recommendations” from the drop down menu…

Step 2: Create Your Email to Dynamically Include the Recommendation 

You can now add an email to include in the Flow to send whatever the recommendation is. 

In the email, Click “Edit Content”: 

In the email editor, click “Preview” on the left hand side: 

Now you can see all of the Variables that are associated with the event of completing the quiz, which is called “Prehook – Product Recommendations”: 

If you click on any of the variables, it will appear in the box. In the above example, you can see {{ event.products.0.title }} . 

To use these variables in your email, you can copy these variables and paste them into your email. Note that these are case-sensitive, and must be copied exactly as they appear in this preview window, or else it will not work properly.
