How To Set Up The Prehook & Omnisend Integration

Prehook and Omnisend are an excellent combination to learn more about your customers, save the data as an Omnisend contact, and create tight segments and personalized messages based on your quiz responses. 

Once you set up your Omnisend integration, all contacts are created automatically, and quiz responses are saved as Custom Properties. 

Let’s walk step by step through the process:

In Omnisend, go to Store Settings:

Go to the Integrations & API menu, and click on API keys: 

Create a name for your API Keys. 

Select “I want to set up custom permissions for this API key” and select “Contacts”: 

Copy the API keys that are automatically created: 

In Prehook, go to the Integrations tab and click Edit next to the Omnisend logo: 

In Prehook, go to the Integrations tab and paste your Omnisend API keys: 

You can now Install the quiz on your storefront, and publish the quiz: 

Make sure to test the quiz, and confirm that data from the quiz is sent through to Omnisend. It will appear as a Custom Property in the following section: 

There you have it–you are now set up to create more personalized in Omnisend with data gathered from Prehook quizzes!
